We combined Split with Ston, left early to avoid the crowds and to combine this two completely different but wonderful places. First we went to Split, where we were met by a guide upon arrival. We did a historical tour of the city and spent maybe an hour exploring at our leisure. After that, Ston, a small town known for its excellent oysters and local food. We had lunch here in an excellent family restaurant before returning to Dubrovnik. It was a long day, but definitely worth it.
